Welcome To my Revamped Blog

Welcome to the new blog, better than the last blog.

It has been a while since I worked on the blog and with the new year abound I have decided to give the blog a revamp. I have been building up a list of posts and things that I want to cover in the blog and look forward to sharing these with all of you as we go through the year.

Where have I been?

So, last year my wife and I moved from the south of England up to north east Scotland, from a new build house to a small 18 acre croft of all things. That is a big change I hear you say. Yes, it is. But after the last couple of years and everything that came with it our minds were focused on what we want from life, namely more space to pick up more craft related passtimes as well as being able to get out into nature a lot easier and less crowds.

After a wonderfully warm summer last year we got a great Scottish summer this year, just like I remember when I grew up not far from where we are now. But, we still got a chance to go and enjoy the bikes and day trips out.

What can you expect?

I’m still going to be blogging about the tech side of things, content will be focused on the Microsoft data technology stack predominently. However, I will also be including content related to AWS and Snowflake which I spent time working with over the last couple of years. I will also probably be popping some posts in about life on the croft with little projects and things that we are doing here, both technical related and non-technical. There is also likely to be some other ranbom content here which crosses my mind when it pops into my head. I will also be pulling in my archive posts, updating them, and then publishing them here in addition to the new content.

The objective of this blog is to share knowledge, experiences, and bring my authentic self to the table.

So, lets see where this little journey ends up. I’m happy to be back in the fold from a community perspecitve and look forward to getting your feedback.
